What is the Beckenham PCN Wellbeing Café?

The Beckenham Primary Care Network Wellbeing Café is an opportunity for patients from across our six practices to come together for an educational, social event.

There will be guest speakers from a variety of local healthcare providers and voluntary sectors, that will discuss their services in detail. There will also be an opportunity for patients to check in with one of our healthcare professionals and ensure all your personal information is up to date, including your blood pressure!

What will you take away from our Wellbeing Cafe?

We hope that you will learn more about what services your PCN has to offer, our additional roles that we have available for you to book in with via your GP practice, and how to book.

"Helping at the Beckenham PCN Wellbeing café has been an absolute privilege! It is so wonderful to see the comradery between visitors to the café. The increase in people attending, shows the need for this type of café in the community and the positive impact it has for them socially, as well as having professional NHS staff on hand for any advice or assistance/signposting.

The fact that many visitors return regularly shows the need, and therefore how much they benefit from this Wellbeing café.

As we continue to grow, we will introduce more fun activities and increase the entertainment and enjoyment on offer."

Beckenham Primary Care Network has had the privilege to host talks from Rapid Response, Tissue Viability, Bladder and Bowel, the District Nursing team, and many more, all of which have provided Beckenham patients with useful tools and information for them to take away.  We also have the team from Home Instead attend each month, providing Love to Move exercise sessions for those who wish to take part which has proved very popular.
